Whenever submitting foreign documents to the Italian Embassy or an Italian consulate that are not in Italian, they will need to be translated to Italian in order to be accepted. In addition to translating the document, usually all documents that have been issued in the US or another member country of the 1961 Hague Convention will require an apostille that must be translated to Italian as well prior to submitting it.
